OMG! it's February ALREADY!!!

Where did January go?
I've had my head down & bum up organizing and scheduling
Mixed Media Art Workshops beginning this month
&
Art Therapy Sessions starting in March 2018.

In between organizing the workshops I've made time for myself
and made ART! Lots of ART!
My first Abstract Figures painting.
PYHAS 2018 - Abstract Figures
When I paint I have time to think,
and quite often
I come up with some great ideas and sometimes
work through issues I might be going through.
Inspired by Dina Wakley

I journaled my intentions in this layout
I definitely practice what I preach!
Sometimes I can't talk to someone or don't want to talk to anyone,
so I express my emotions and feelings
within my art.
That's when the 'magic' happens!!
All works created on A3 size paper

I love this guy.. inspired by Deb Weiers
Art is good therapy, and many people are using the phrase 'art therapy' now
quite a lot...

but TRUE ART THERAPY IS MORE THAN JUST PAINTING OR DRAWING.

There is so much more to Art Therapy, and with the help
of an Art Therapist, a client is encouraged to look at things in a different perspective to
find out where they are now, what is holding them back or what
do they want or need to achieve their intentions or goals.
